Our Senior Pastors

Scott and Gena Smith have been married for 45 years and have two grown daughters. After serving in the helps ministry for a number of years, they both came to the realization that God had greater things in store for them. While attending Kenneth Hagin Ministries Camp Meeting in Tulsa, OK, in July 1992, Scott received the call to pastor. After returning home to Garland, TX, Scott and Gena began making plans to pick up their family and move to Broken Arrow, OK, to attend RHEMA Bible Training College. By October 1992, they had relocated to Tulsa, OK, and were ready to start training to fulfill the call God had placed on their life.


 

Both Scott and Gena graduated from RHEMA Bible Training College in May of 1995, with Scott focusing his studies in the Pastor’s Group, and Gena focusing her studies in the Teacher’s Group. At RHEMA, they were involved in multiple areas of the ministry of helps. Upon graduation, they both worked for Kenneth Hagin Ministries serving in various capacities until May of 2005.

 

In 2001, Scott and Gena began to feel the tug of the Holy Spirit to step out in faith and pastor a church, and God opened the door for them to pastor Faith Bible Church in June of 2005.

 

Since that time, Pastors Scott and Gena have continued to preach and teach the uncompromised Word of God in order to encourage believers grow in faith and the knowledge of God's Word that they might live in the blessings of God.



Kidz Place Children's Minister

Rev. Rebecca Kirk is married to Nathan Kirk and has four children. Rebecca spent most of her life being pulled to children's ministry, first starting as an assistant at a church in Texas. However, after moving from Texas, she spent time searching Prague, Oklahoma for a church to call her home. That's when she made the decision to become a member of Faith Bible Church. She felt a tug on her heart to become involved in the children's department, first starting as an assistant to the previous children's pastor. 


As her desire grew to focus on children's ministry, she followed God's plan to attend Rhema Bible Training College. Upon graduation, Rebecca assumed the position of  children's pastor. She has a deep passion for giving children a place to thrive in their faith and grow in God's love. 

Youth Ministers

Melissa grew up at Faith Bible Church and has been the Youth Pastor since 2006. Her teaching focuses on biblical literacy, faith, and ministry. She earned her Bachelor's Degree in Secondary Math Education in 2003 and a master's degree in 2009. She worked as a high school math teacher for 13 years and is currently a stay-at-home mom to three children whom she homeschools. You could say that she really loves to teach.


Buddy Lindsey Jr. married Melissa in 2012 and has been a great addition as they minister as a team. He focuses on apologetics, textual criticism, and epistemology. He has a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and has been a professional software developer since 2012.

            Nursery Director

Shanon Brown, mother of five, serves as director for our nursery team. Her sweet spirit brings a sense of love and nurturing to this very special part of our church.
